hey there! hope you guys can help me 'cos i'm going a little crazy! i'm hoping to be pregnant, but am not sure if i am or not. my lmp was 2nd feb so offcially i should be due fri 2nd march, tomorrow. i took a test this morning, the clearblue digi one and it came up neg. but my cycle varies from month to month, it has been 6 weeks recently, and i have a few symptoms, ie. very sore breasts, overly emotional, tired a lot, cramping, my skin's broken out and i've gone off red meat. so i'd really like your opinions as i know these could all be put down to normal cycle symptoms too. thanks a lot!

If the test is negative, chances are you aren't... Not unless your period isn't due for a week or so... Usually if you are a few days away from starting and you are pregnant, you'll have a 2nd line or atleast a faint 2nd line... Retest in a couple of days w/ a different brand... that sometimes will make a difference.

If you are trying to get pregnant.. make sure you know you're ovulating and what day you are-- makes it a lot easier! Please check out the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler... it will help you get pregnant and can also serve as a natural form of birth control after you have the baby. I wish you luck.

It could be pregnancy even tho the test came out neg...sometimes your body hasnt produced enough hcg this early on so the test doesnt pick up on it....plus the clear blue digitals I think read a higher level of hcg which is another reason it may came back neg....go to www.peeonastick.com they give you comparisons on tests and whats better... you want to get a very early test..where it reads lower levels of hcg....they have tests that can be done 5 days b4 a missed period...if you think you are preg a blood test is much better at detecting early pregnancies..Good Luck!
