Sprinkle thoroughly with baking soda, let sit overnight, vacuum. Repeat as needed.
The smell is probably coming from the foam cushions and will probably return, so about anything you use will only be a temporary fix but can avoid replacing the foam for a while.

If the area is small use hydrogen peroxide, test in a small area first, however, I have never found it too discolor fabric or carpet. Saturate the area thoroughly and then use a towel to press out moisture. If this is a large area, particularly an animal urine area, and you have detachable cushions, take to a laundromat. Use the large commercial size washer. Wash with detergent that has bleach alternative and add 16 oz hydrogen peroxide. Dry at home in your own dryer on medium heat.. too hot of dryer will ruin the fabric. I have used this method multiple times as a landlord. The hydrogen peroxide kills all bacteria and germs so smell does not return. Usually, you can do this two or three times (multiple accidents), after that the seams may begin coming apart. Hydrogen peroxide works great on carpet too. Good luck.

febreze will only temporarily remove the funk!! if you're sure it's the cushions themselves that stink and not the suede fabric that is covering them, take the suede part off (i know they tell you not to but you can) and use an upholstery cleaner (like Woolite Upholstery, which is what we use) or if it's a large couch you can rent a carpet cleaner at your grocery store called The Rug Doctor for REALLY cheap (like $20 for an hour) and that will help you get deep down into the cushions and remove any odors that are there. there's also a product that is really good for just spot cleaning called Red Juice. don't laugh...that's the name of it. it is completely odor free but it's a concentrate and you mix it yourself. it's fairly inexpensive and lasts a long time!!

Get a spray bottle and put in 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of pinesol and then spray the couch.
This method should eliminate any smell.

Febreez them down and let them dry then repeat until it's gone. It may take a few times depending on what the smell is.

Do you mean leather suede or the micro-fiber that feels like suede? What is the smell? Is there a stain?
I ask because there are different ways for different materials and different stains.

Febreeze works great...but test it on a hidden area (like the back) to make sure it doesn't hurt the suede
