WOW !!! I think the whole country just experienced a power surge from so many men shutting down their computers at the same time !!! I can tell you some of what I feel…but the rest I believe is a feeling that is truly indescribable and really never understood… at least not by me ! I’ve always been leery of the idea of a “Soul Mate”, but if there is such a thing, I’ve found her !.... the feelings associated with that is the part I don’t understand, nor do I think I need to… I believe it comes from God and I don’t question it. My feelings for her run so deep, it amazes me, thrills me, and scares me all at the same time ! My mind & my body want to be close to her ALL the time !! I feel completely comfortable with her in all situations and spending time with her is easy & fun. I love who she is and I respect her as a woman… intellectually, emotionally and sexually. I could go on and on about her endless good qualities….but I think the one thing for me that indicates true lasting love is the desire to care for her… to want good things for her and be willing to sacrifice for her. To be willing to accept the bad with the good, the better or the worse… love is a selfless act… the more selfless I feel, the deeper I feel my love for her. Her happiness touches me in places that have never before been touched !
In regards to what FINALLY happened to let me know this… I think I knew when she opened her door and I saw her face for the first time.
By the way… this person I love so much is ‘tiedtoarainbow’

What finally happens to let you know you're in love? You get weak in the knees at the sound of his name (or him saying yours). You can't imagine doing anything without him and find your life before you met him a blur; life becomes "before I fell in love" and an expansive after which could take up the rest of your life. You find every excuse to stay with him as long as you can, you arrive early and stay late -- and hope he does too! You "know" you're in love when you're better than you thought you could be because of the one you love.
