Who has a wife that has no concept of what a dollar is?

2007-03-01 14:33:15 · answer #1 · answered by Floyd M 2 · 1 2

How about a wife who thinks she should know everything a husband does with the money he has worked for but when it comes to the money the wife makes it's none of his business. Even when the husband pays all the bills except the phone and storage and guess what the phone got turned off because she didn't pay it go figure and she doesn't feel she needs to pay her other bills but can spend over $100 for books she might read once.
If he is meeting is obligations then why the hell shouldn't he do what he wants with it?

Not this wife and chickie here. My husband loves sharing his money with me and i would share my money with him as well. If people would stop being so greedy and selfish in a marriage oh how much better our marriages would be dont ya think? Some women are just as selfish and greedy as much as any man could ever be.

i have to work nearly full time and I pay the rent, electricity, credit card, internet ,car repayments and registration and repairs, two insurances, school fee and expenses and clothe myself and two teenage girls and also pay for milk, bread and bits and pieces my husband earns three times what i earn and i have to tred very lightly to get him to pay for the new plasma tv and the phone bill
he also buys the groceries when it suits him but occassionally when hes away on bussiness he doesn't give me money for that
surprisingly though he can be extremely generous throughout the year and just brought me a 700 diamond ring for our anniversary and valentines day and took us for a month long caravaning holiday and spent lots of money on all of us so that all makes up for the tightness through the year though i really wish he would just help out a bit more so that i could actually have a bit of cash for myself sometimes

If it's his money, then he is not greedy. Stingy or frugal, perhaps. It is hard for people who don't work hard to earn an income to appreciate financial prudence.

Are you talking about his money or your money? If it is his money, let him be. If it is your money, that is when your red flag should be up. If it is joint, mmm, you'll have to make him see reason. But then, aren't wives too equally guilty?

my mom. but she stuck with him because of us kids... now that we're grown, she gave ultimatums and left home once... we had family meetings too to help both of them to see where they went wrong... my dad improved and is improving day by day... ultimately, my parents are still together... i wouldn't have wanted them split anyway after 27 years of marriage... my dad is very thrifty and money-minded about everything... your husband is like that?
