LSD stands for Lysergic Acid Diethylamide.

On the street though, its usually referred to as "acid". It was first made by Albert Hofmann in Switzerland.

Its a psychedelic drug made from a fungus that grows on rye.

Whether or not its "bad" depends on who you ask. Personally I think small doses are interesting to experiment with. Theres no risk of addiction or any kind of damage to your body. The only risk with it is whats called a "bad trip", but those only happen with high doses or with people who dont know how to avoid them. As far as psychedelic drugs go though, I've always preferred magic mushrooms.
