Before I get a violation this is a question not a statement . Why has everyone that answered the question about my gf been supportive but all given the same answer ? Let her make her own mind up who she wants and it is up to me to accept that. I must be wrong because all you guys say I should give her the chance to decide on her own. Thanks.

I would suggest you go back to your original question - as not everyone is saying let your gf make up her own mind. Most people (myself included) are suggesting some sort of communication between the two of you, probably initiated by you (as you seem to be the one who ended things in an incomplete way) in which you try and explain the way you feel a little more clearly. It seems to me you don't really want to split up, but you're not happy. Work on it together!

Hi there Pauline N. What Jeff said is quite right! It is a shame that you feel that you are not good enough for your girlfriend. She obviously thinks that you are because she chooses to be with you, and stay with you. It seems that you need to build on your self esteem. You deserve just as much happiness as anyone else. Try to talk with your gf and let her know your feelings. You should give her the chance to decide.
I wish you all the best! :o) x

dumping someone because you feel you are not good enough?? that's just not reasonable..

perhaps you are dumping her for other reasons, but are using this as an excuse to yourself to justify what you did??

bottom line, you are free to dump her if you want to, if you aren't satisfied with her or the relationship then that's fine.. but do her a favor and give her the real truth about why you are dumping her.. don't make up this "i think you can do better than me" stuff..

if she is being dumped, she deserves to know why so she can take action to learn from her mistakes and make herself a better person, so that she won't get dumped by her next gf.
