I saw the movie for the first time today and I was crying and screaming and laughing for all 4 hours. It was incredible, and to think it was made in 1939!!!! Clark Gable is one of the most handsome actors to ever graced Hollywood, he looks like George Clooney! The movie was great! What do you think??

Frankly Ms BetsyJ I do give a damn ( smile ) it is a great movie and I think a accurate portrayal of the Old South before , during, and after the War Between the States. Scarlet sure was hung up on Ashley Wilkes and all those Husbands...LOL. Great movie and I give it a 5 star thumbs up rating.

Actually George Clooney looks like Clark Gable, and yes I like the movie for what it was.

I'm so glad to see that so many other people love this movie!! A few years ago my coworkers & I were talking about our favortie movies...when I said GWTW, everyone looked at me like a dog staring up at a ceiling fan, because of the racial udertones in the film.
Regardles, this is one of my all time favorites. It breaks my heart every time I watch it, even though I know what's going to happen.

Vivian Leigh was amazing in this movie, I really enjoy watching it and Olivia DE Haviland and Clark Gable were fantastic.

It's a Classic. There is a DVD/VCR that also has the making of the movie on it, you may enjoy that too. Nice to see other younger people still enjoying the Classic movies.

It is one of my all time favorites. Now if you really want a treat, read the book. It is even better than the movie! It is a long one but very, very good.

Gone with the wind is the best movie.Romantic.classic,sad i'm boy but i was crying when i saw end of movie.I can't stop my emotion.This is fantastic movie.Of course had many mistakes but this is best best best movie,Hollywood's golden movie

That's funny, I just saw that this weekend. I would be interested in seeing it redone. But then again, I probably wouldn't be satisfied with the casting choices... Maybe I will post a question asking people who they would choose.
