While wintrop is a popular pick to make it deep, they do not have enough depth to make it past a louisville or syracuse type team who they would play in the first round. the small schools that make it deep this year will be ones we have all heard of before. butler and siu are the favorites of course. def and controlling tempo can take you a long way in the tournament, ask george mason. tho butler of the two teams has the chance to make it the deepest, they have the ability to shoot the 3 as well which is a dangerous combo in the tournament.

i have a surprise pick...i think winthrop is very capable of making a deep run in the tournament, even though they haven't gotten much press...they have senior leaders who have played in the tournament before, and they have some impressive wins and even impressive losses on the road, so they can definitely ruin some brackets

Winthrop I think! They lost against ranks teams this year and beat Air Force twice. And have a pretty good winning streak. Lets see.
