PMS is a cluster of emotional, behavioural and physical symptoms occurring with a cyclical pattern and related to the menstrual cycle. In PMS, these symptoms are not only noticeable, but they also interfere with the quality of life.1 Symptoms will cease at the onset or slightly after the onset of menses. 58% of North American women of child-bearing age feel they suffer from significant premenstrual symptoms2 , while only 1 in 4 women who seek help from their doctor for premenstrual syndrome (PMS) feel that they are provided with helpful treatment.

Good luck!

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a group of symptoms linked to the menstrual cycle. PMS symptoms occur in the week or two weeks before your period (menstruation or monthly bleeding). The symptoms usually go away after your period starts. PMS can affect menstruating women of any age. It is different for each woman: it may be just a monthly bother or it may be so severe that it makes it hard to even get through the day. Monthly periods stop during menopause, bringing an end to PMS.

PMS is very real... if you are treated badly because of PMS, try not to take it personally... Everybody is treated badly around the person with PMS... trust me I have PMS and I want to be alone... Anyone who's wants to be around me when I'm PMSing feels bad and unwanted... this stops right when the period comes... There's pill out there called YAZ that's supposed to get rid of the PMS
