how are ethnocentric perspectives influencing how issues are presented in the media?

for example, there is an LA times article on the atrocities happening in darfur. how the heck is the article being ethnocentric?!?

Well he article is obvisiouly not written by a Sudenese journalist. It was written by a westerner because they put down the government and government officials in Sudan, they also give the point of view that the ICC is right and that the Sudanese need to listen to them more. I agree with what they are saying but they are looking at it from a western perspective not a Sudanese perspective
