There is such a thing as a 'professional relationship'. When you are at work you owe to your employer and coworkers an environment that makes it possible for everyone to be able to do the job they are being paid to do. Coworkers are like family in that you don't get to pick them. It's a group of people that you have to spend a large portion of your time with, and have to accomplish tasks together. So everyone should work hard to keep a work atmosphere which best allows that to happen. You don't have to be his friend. You can opt to spend as much time away from him as possible yet still get your job done. Whether he is gay or not has nothing to do with it. It doesn't change the situation at all in reality. Wherever you work for the rest of your life there is always SOMEONE who is an ***. If you are blessed, these is only one. And so it goes.....

Anonymously e-mail him to no end! Create a new e-mail account with him name on yahoo or something and send it to his work e-mail address all day with random messages. You could include links about annoying gay people, know it alls, etc.; this may straighten out the problem a bit!

If not, it will drive him crazy having e-mails coming in to him from himself! Use the computers at your local library.

Well, if he REALLY knows it all, then bow down before your master.

If you just don't like him, then deal. You don't have to be friends.

If he is a gay jerk, it makes no difference. If he were straight, he would be a straight jerk.
