Josh Harding is now the man in Minnesota! And he demonstrated he's up to the task tonight against the Oilers IN Edmonton! He blanked them 5-0 along with 30 saves.

As for Niklas Backstrom, he suffered a lower body injury and has been listed as day to day for now.

Manny Fernandez is looking to be out for another week or two with a sprained MCL.

I don't think they have informed us on Backstrom yet and Fernandez is back soon. They called up a back-up for Harding in the meantime, thus they are carrying 4 goalies.

Fernandez just started to practice with the wild after their last game against the oilers. He should be back soon but in the mean time Harding showed up great the other night. We will be fine.

Until either of those guys come back (especially Fernandez) the Wild will struggle. I'd say they might miss the playoffs because of it, but they have a 10 point lead on Edmonton so I don't think it really matters.

Harding looks as though he is up for the task. The Wild have had pretty good defense all year also. They have a problem scoring goals in most of their losses, not giving them up. Harding will do fine. They will make the playoffs, and don't count them out for winning the division either.
