Just curious what the answers would be to this question. My answer: the 1990 Buffalo Bills.

The 1976 Steelers. They started the season 1-4 and won every game the rest of the season. If that was not impressive enough, check out these scores

W 23-6 vs Cincinnati Bengals
W 27-0 at New York Giants
W 23-0 vs San Diego Chargers
W 45-0 at Kansas City Chiefs
W 14-3 vs Miami Dolphins
W 32-16 vs Houston Oilers
W 7-3 at Cincinnati Bengals
W 42-0 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
W 21-0 at Houston Oilers

They only gave up 28 points in 9 games TOTAL! They were the second team ever with 2 1000 yard rushers

They ended up losing the AFC Championship game to the 13-1 Raiders.

I would agree with the '90 Bills. Great game plan against the Giants. They controlled the time of possession, gained a lot of first downs while committing no turnovers. Came down to a missed field goal at the end. Probably the best Super Bowl played by both teams in terms of fewest mistakes.
Plus the nucleus of the Bills have many hall of famers and a few more should also go into Canton.

I'll say the 1998 Minnesota Vikings...15-1 and they lose to the friggin Atlanta Falcons because of Gary Anderson's missed FG - of course, that was the first miss he had ALL SEASON! Now that's what I call bad luck...

i agree with him ^^^^^
they lost to the falcons because gary anderson missed a feild goal when he hadn't all year. they scored the most points by a team in a single season ever! if he made that kick the vikes would have went to the super bowl and won it

i could never say the 98 vikings. they choked like they always do. it dont matter how good their team is, they will choke. lol. yeah, the 1990 bills definately had potential. hey also have the curse though. at least they put up a fight in one of their super bowls unlike the vikings.

06 Chargers, just because Keading missed a fieldgoal, I think the Chargers, should trade him, or fired him.
