Frankly I don't care about the points. If I can help out someone with a question or a problem, I'll do it and s**ew the points. Besides that, I've started a couple of friendships with people who have some common interests so there is a bonus advantage provided you communicate in English.

I first started just to answer questions...I was perfectly happy. Then... somehow, the point system got a hold of me and now I'm psycho about it. Please help me - I am on this site way too much for my own good. What the hell do the points mean anyway? Can you cash them in for a prize??? NO...so I am really not sure why I care about them so much...damn, I need help.
