I did make my decision thanks to those of the people that helped me with it. I chose the PSP because according to a few people on here it can do much greater things, and is better for people on the go. (note- the reason why he is on the go is because he does martial arts and helps teach students there that's why he isn't at home for those that were wondering)

The psp because it is a console that is greater for more older audiences (13 or more) while the wii is for little kids like 6-12 years of age. The psp has more features than the wii, has a cooler design, there are more games for it and is portable.

Well, if he's hardly at home, he might appreciate a PSP more for "gaming on the go", however, the Wii isn't the only option as consoles go. While it is a bit more expensive, the Xbox 360 offers a larger variety of better-looking games at near the same price, and would probably appeal more to a 14 year old boy. My brother, who is also 14, plays Xbox 360 online with friends every day, and often has his friends come over to play and they all seem to love it. On the other hand, if he's hardly at home, perhaps a gaming console wouldn't be the best path at all. Maybe get him an MP3 player, or a bike, or a savings bond or something. Kind of depends on the person I guess.

If hes hardly home and would say the psp. But the wii is amazing and cool. It is also hard to find. The wii is good but the psp would be a good choice if hes never home.

Well, it depends on what your kid likes better. If he likes playing games at home rather than in a car ride or some where else, choose the Wii. If he likes playing handheld games, choose the PSP. In my opinion, i would go with the Wii because it has funner games for littler children.

while the PSP may be better if he is hardly at home, the Wii is an excellent system in my opinion. Its got great games and a fun new form of control that puts you more in the characters shoes in many cases.

If he is hardly home i advise a PSP because it is portable. He can take it with him almost everywhere. If he stays home alot you should buy a the Wii, but the games are alot but fun.

well i guess if hes hardly home, he must move alot
so the psp is the obvious choice
the wii is cool because it has the interactive remote...but this is vastly overrated because the games rnt amazing. i no this because my friend has it. so get the psp
oh and u can surf the web plus store music on the psp, so its more than just a portable game player

A PSP. He can take it with him when he's on the go. It can do more than a Nintendo Wii and he can customize it any way he wants.
