thanks for the answers! so... how (as stated in a question i read, can a pair of chuck taylors be "emo")? maybe i'm just too old to get it. lol. :)

Well i am Emo it means different things ill name a few
1) Emo= people that cuts theirself becouse they like tosee themselves bleed or they cut theirselves becuz they do it to take their pain away from something else
2) Emo=its a music like Afi,koRn,godsmack,slipknot,etc a bunch
but i used to b gothic i am Emo i like Emo music and i kno alot about this stuff....

It means you're a watered down punk wannabe who cuts yourself. It's pretty much what's all over the radio right now...it sucks!
CHUCKS ARE NOT EMO!!! I wore them in sixth grade around the grunge era... come to think of it, I want another pair.
