No offence intended, but memory is used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Everyone rely's on their memory.

Yep . . . works quite well, most of the time. The only problem is that the older you get, the more stuff you have in your memory to be sorted through. So answers may take a little longer but hey, they've been better researched!

what? i don't remember what the question was. . . :)

i usually write stuff on my calendar or set a reminder on my cell, but i rarely have to rely on that- got a pretty good memory.

I find as I get older and have more on my plate I need to keep a daily calendar or else I forget things. I used to be able to keep it all in my head but those days are pretty much gone for good.

No, not my short term b/c its nearly non-existing and in some of my long term I block out unpleasant memories or stupid things I said or did. For real.

what kind of idiotic question is that? of course we do. We rely on memory to walk, to speak to even breathe. this anime manga watcher with no life is... well an idiot. and i just wasted 1 minute of my life.

Before turning 40, it was a breeze for me to remember anything. I was sooo good that I didn't even need an address book for #'s and stuff. Now, I can't remember my own. :(
