Most states have Family planning, It could be free if you check them out. But you really should tell your mom you'd like to be on it, My little sister is on the pill just because it helps with her painful irregular periods.

The only thing you state here is that you are 16 yrs old.
Sex is for adults, not children. Your parents' need to be involved because their not done with THEIR job until you turn 18 yrs old. Allow your parents' to do their job. Their job is to help you develop into an individual that can make effective decisions for your life. It's their job to provide guidance and information to you no matter what is going on in your life a child. And from the looks of your question your trying to do this behind their back..Look into the future and ask your self how you would want to handle this questions with YOUR OWN "little" girl...
There are so many questions. Are you ready for adult activity? Are you ready to contemplate a pregnancy?
Are you ready to handle STD's. You don't even say whether or not this is just one person you want to be involved with.
Giving up the GIFT of your virginity is a big deal. Have you really considered what giving this up means for your future?
Why not talk to your parents' and ask them questions about what this means. Maybe they would surprise you after all.
And one more thing...WAITING until you're an ADULT is not the hardest thing you will ever do.

Planned Parenthood. 100% free. Get condoms too, also 100% free. You really should talk to your parents though. Sexual activity is a lot of responsibility. If you are not bold enough to talk this decision over with your parents, you are probably not emotionally ready to have sex. Think about it. How fair is it for you to live under their roof, take their support, and not be honest with them? If you should get pregnant or end up with a disease you'll, no doubt, want their help.
I gave you the information so you'll be relatively safe, but consider talking with your parent(s.)

Go the the family planning clinic. Also, use protection anyway so that you do not get HPV. A report released yesterday said that 1 in 4 females now have the papilloma virus that causes cervical cancer. Males also are a carrier of the virus if they have been with a female who was infected with it. My daughter has had ovarian, and cervical cancer, and last year it had spread to her lung. She has had to have a radical hysterectomy and cannot have children. There is also a chance the cancer will return again, since it has spread to her lung. She was older than you when she started having sex.

You have to be 18 to get BC pills, but when I was younger I went to a place for teens that was part of the health department, and it was $5 or $10 each time. (I got the shot every 3 months, and I don't recommend it.) I pay $20 a month for pills now through my insurance.

Go to planned parenthood. I think they might give it to you for free. You shouldn't be having sex though, trust me you'll regret it when you're older and married. It's not even good compared with your husband that you love and he loves you back. Just immagine if you got prgnant, pills are not always effective, are you ready to be mother? Also, think of this: Every person you have sex with, you are actually having sex with 5 other people. What disease are you going to bring home and have to explain to your parents what happened. Maybe you should talk with them before that happens. : )
condoms in my oppinion are better, pills can be bad for your health. I have many friends that took them when they were young and now have many painful problems with their periods

Birth control costs lots of money! I pay $40 WITH insurance. If you go to your doctor they can give you samples and you can use them. Some places for teenagers may give it for free. Talk to a close relative if you don't feel comfortable asking your parents. Whatever you do...please don't let hiding it keep you from getting it.
Another thing you can do is complain to your mom about how HORRIBLE your cramps are...most girls take birth control just to relieve cramping pain. If you complain enough maybe your mom will decide to take this route.
Maybe this will help. :)

$30 a month insurances don't cover birth control anyway. Maybe look into planned parenthood maybe they have low cost birth control or can direct you better.

$30 a month w/o insurance and generic brand. Or go to planned parenthood and get them for free or minimal price. They do not protect you from disease so get some free condoms too!
