They can have certain kinds of greens. DO NOT feed them iceburg lettuce!! It has very little nutritional value and may give the dragon the 'runs' . This can lead to dehydration.
Greens you may feed your beardie include endive, romaine, arugula, collard & mustard greens, parsley, and dandelion greens.
They can have chopped fruit such as cantaloupe, apple, blueberries, peaches, pears, grapes, plums, raspberries. Make sure they are chopped fine though so they don't choke.

It is essential that you feed bearded dragons greens, herbs, fruit and vegies, when they are older then that is all they basically eat, so introduce it to them now so that when they are full grown then you dont have to struggle, if you want to learn more click on the following link

As previously stated, beardies are Omnivores, this means meat AND veges. Dragons *NEED* greens to thrive and live properly, adult dragons that eat to much meat can get fatty liver disease which can be fatal. Young dragons eat about 80% protein (meats) and 20% greens. It slowly shifts as they age, adult dragons eat almost the oppisite, 20% protein 80% greens.
Lettuces arent reccomended, almost all letuce, with the exception of Romaine, has very low nutritional content. dark leafy greens mixed with diffrent types of squash are the way to go. I have a link in my refrences that list tons of great feeding options.

Bearded dragons are native to where I live (desert in the middle of Oz) and I have discovered that the guys at work have got a 'pet' one that hangs around outside the offices, and have told me that they feed it banana's and that he (or she) loves it!
When banana's were too expensive just recently they said that they fed him apples. So yes - they do enjoy fruit.
Don't know how healthy it is for it, but I have to tell you that it happens to be the biggest fattest one I have ever seen and there are loads of them here......

wow -so many opinions
lizards need a well balanced ratio of calcium and phosphorus to maintain healthy body functions and prevent metabolic bone disease.
they are omnivores which means they eat meat and vegetables/fruits
they are susceptible to over eating and can get too much fat in their diets just like any other animal.
Melissa Kaplan's website www.anapsid.org has some good info on the best fruits and veggies a long with a balance of how much protein to offer. check it out

They should be feed:
Crickets, wax worms, not so much mealworms, etc.
Leafy greens such as escarole, dandelions, endive, mustard, and collards, NO lettuces or spinach! They aren't good for him.
Hard mixed veggies such as an orange flesh squash the harder the better(acorn,pumpkin,butternut... fresh green beans, fresh peas, parsnip, and green bell peppers, NO broccoli or cauliflower, or avocado!
Less fruit than greens and veggies. Fruit such as figs, papaya, mango, pear, and berries.

They need to eat greens. I never saw a caresheet that said they should not eat greens.
In addition to insects, bearded dragons should be fed a mixture of green leafy vegetables (e.g. dandelion greens, collard greens, chickory greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, escarole, parsley), other vegetables (e.g. squash, carrots, green beans, peas, bell peppers), and some fruits (e.g. berries, apples, grapes, cantaloupe, papaya, mango, blueberries, bananas
