This can happen if you have large breasts (I'm a 34G) so I often get rashes because my bras can slip a bit and then the underwire sits on my ribs.
Make sure (if you don't already) that you wear a good fitting bra, with supportive straps and moisturise underneath your breasts. If they get irritated then try and wear a sports crop top or singlet with a shelf bra- this will at least help the skin to heal, then you can go back to wearing a regular bra when your skin is not as inflamed and itchy.

Two things come to mind....

Either you bra is not the right fit, too tight or too lose so it slides a bit. Suggest going and getting a free bra sizing from JCPenney or Dillards. A lot of department stores will take your measurements and help you find the right fit for free.
Or.... you are allergic to your laundry soap, fabric softener or dryer sheets.

I see this a lot at my work place, old age/long term care facility, of course we use prescription creams, but the best cream by far is zinc, or zinc mixed with vaseline, available at your drug store. Powders will not clear it up. Z&V also prevents. Nothing to worry about.

There is a chance that it could be a yeast infection. I know it sounds gross but it really isn't. It's normal. Go to your doc. and they can prescribe something. Otherwise, try some gold bond powder in the meantime.

You can get a yeast inf. anywhere on your body. Overweight people can get them between the folds of their skin.... Now that's nasty.

Perhaps you are sensitive to the material in you bra or other clothing. Could also be an allergy to body spray, soap, etc. Also, if you sweat alot, this may harbor bacteria that might irritate the skin in this area.

After you have dried off from your shower, put some cornstarch baby powder under your breasts before you put your bra on. That helps keep it dry under there and prevents chafing.

It could also be chafing from your bra. Make sure your bra isn't too tight in the band (there shouldn't be a lump on either side of the band at your sides and/or back).

I have this a lot. I think it is a heat rash. You could try putting powder there and see if it helps, or consult a doctor.

You might be allergic to a certain body soap or laundry soap on that sensitive area. I got it once when i changed my laundry soap.
