I mean officially. I would say they should be.

I don't mean colour I just mean since genetically your race doesn't change much (I think) shouldn't you become what ever race raised you, even if you looked different.

I'm not stupid! This is a legitimate though, I guess it's a nature versus nurture question. I know society only seems to care about what colour the kids skin is but when someone adopts a kid they raise them their way and are supposed to take them entirely into their own family. Like I knew a Romainian Gypsy kid who was adopted and brought to Canada and he didn't act like a Gypsy.

BTW I did say Visa Versa. I could have easily phrased it the other way around.

Never mind, this was a really bad question, I rephrased (made it neutral) it and got some great answers.

The baby is and will always be "black" in color.
If you're alluding to the baby's cultural upbringing, it still has nothing to do with color. It has to do with how that baby is taught morals and beliefs by the parents.
If you think that black and white people have such a big difference in how they bring up their kids....why don't you ask that instead?

you're for sure insecure and are hoping white ladies are as jealous and keen approximately you as you're of them. such various black human beings those days (no longer all in spite of the undeniable fact that) have this fixation with white human beings's seems on a similar time as white human beings do no longer think of approximately you as intensely in any respect. And lol @ y'all attempting to crap on ladies as an entire so which you would be able to experience extra acceptable. men are notoriously jealous creatures yet basically women persons are hated for this.

This is a stupid question. NO they are the color they are, just because the parents are white does not make a black baby white, you should raise the child to know their real ancestry!

How would adoption change the baby's genetic make-up? The kid is black no matter who raises him.

No, it has actually been scientifically proven that a baby's race does not change by switching parents after birth.

"officially"?????
black and white are references to skin color. getting adopted does not change skin color. as race goes you will always be what you were born as.
what i want to know is, does it have to matter?

They should be able to maintain their true identity so they can feel comfortable about their race.
