What age? Can you catch? Can you throw? Can you cover? The coach is going to put you where you can do the most good. Back in high school, I was a "Gitback". Every time I'd start out on the field, the coach would yell "Boy, git back on that bench where you belong!".

Your too big for a running back, can u take a hit or give one? if u can catch id say a blocking tight end, o-line tackle would be good for you, maybe Defensive tackle.
I weigh 178 6'0 and Im a D tackle/tight end/line backer. Try everything, see what your most comfortable with.

For defense, I would say linebacker, because of the combo of size and speed. If you wouldn't mind being on the line on D, you could play D-end if you wanted to. For offense my best recommendation is a running back. You could also be a fullback but I don't know if you would want to play that since you didn't want to be O-line and fullback does a lot of blocking. The same thing goes for tight end, but with your size that would be a great position.

On offense it sounds like you would do best at FB or TE. FB blocks for QB, blocks for RB, sometimes runs the ball, and on occasion gos out for a pass. TE blocks for RB and sometimes gos out for a pass. On defense you could be DE if you gain a good bit more weight or LB with a little more but at your current weight you seem to be better fitted for FS.

well im about that tall but a little person and if your fast and man enough to get tackled almost every play try out for running back or even full back but it depends on your age cuz if your short you cant really play wide out but on defense i like to play safety or middle linebacker would be good for your size

If you're fast enough, safety. If you can cover taller receivers, corner back. I think your only option on O is some type of running back. Don't forget about special teams! Kick coverage and return man (Think Devin Hester!)
