You know, based on your prior questions.....I have worries that you wouldn't be going to dinner as friends. I also seriously doubt that his wife would know about you or even be invited to such a dinner.
Based on your past questions...no, it is not appropriate. It would be appropriate if his wife was also in attendance.

Theoretically possible but from your previous questions it appears that more than this is on both of your minds.
If you ask him now whether he intends to divorce his wife you will probably get a long list of reasons why he wants too but cannot. The mortgage, the kids, she controls the bank accounts, he doesn't want to hurt her etc. He will probably tell you that in time it will happen but not yet. He will also tell you that he loves you, cannot live without you and intends to marry you if you are willing as soon as he can get free.
He will probably believe everything he is saying and will not consider himself to be a liar but he will never do any of those things.
If it were really platonic there would be no problem with his wife knowing. Has he ever introduced you to his wife? If not I can only believe that you both have some other agenda.
I wish you luck but I do not think that this will turn out well based on similar situations I have come across.

When a man is married and wants to have dinner with a single girl , do you really think thats all thats on his mind , is just being friends? Take my advise on this one. Don't do it. If he were your husband would you be ok with him having a "platonic" dinner with a single girl?

Ask his wife along too ,no harm in that if it's platonic, you could maybe take a date along too and make it a double date. If you think that would be out of the question then so is your dinner date with a married man .

A platonic dinner session with a married man..ya that's what they all say! Well at least that's how it starts out...then the drama takes over.
Is this mandatory or work?

As long as it's platonic, sure why not. But I'd make sure he's not trying to hide it from his wife. Just because one person thinks it's just Platonic doesn't mean that the other isn't hoping for more.

I think is not appropriate go dinner with a married man. Sound like a date... He is married and i don't think his wife will be OK with that. Just try to picture yourself in the situation where your husband take for dinner another woman and not you. How that will make you feel honestly? Think about and you will know what is the right things to do. Don't listen people that say its OK or Wrong just listen what yourself believe...

AJ, you ask a lot of questions about you doing things with a married man. Of course it is ok to have dinner with a married man, with or without his wife. You can do anything you want with a married man. We live in a free world and all you have to do is make sure you can live with your actions. If you want to hang out with this guy then go for it. And E-Mail me sometime.

That's not a good idea. There's usually ulterior motives as to why a married man wants to have dinner with another woman besides his wife.

Yes you probably could but i would not recommend it as it not only does not look right but you may send him the wrong message by doing so and why is he wanting you to have dinner with him anyways? He should be having dinner with his wife.
