We hear it all too often. LeBron James has to carry the burden of his underachieving team. But are his teammates really that bad? Let's see, they have Larry Hughes, a solid second scoring option averaging nearly 15 points per game. He proved himself to be a playmaker during his time with the Wizards. Drew Gooden averages nearly a double-double (11.5PPG, 8.5RPG). Ilgauskas is solid in the paint (11.6PPG, 8.2RPG). The Cav's bench isn't at all bad either. Eric Snow knows how to run the point, Donyell Marhsall and Damon Jones can both shoot the 3 ball. LeBron's numbers are going down, but no one blames him. They blame it on the Cav's "stagnant" roster. His FT shooting is horrendous. I mean, 67.8%? That's bush league. If anything is wrong with the Cav's, it's either the coaching or LeBron. The rest of the team is doing just fine. So, why does everyone sympathize with LeBron? He deserves a lot of the blame for the Cav's woes.

obviously they dont want lebron to be in the same boat as kg is in...be in the league for a long time and hardly had a chance to sniff an nba title.

he's been the 'chosen one' since high school. it would be better theater if 1) he wins a title (or titles) and reigns over the league like mj did. or 2) he fails miserably and questions come about to how the cant miss prospect... that did miss.

lebron hasnt even been in the league 5 years and they treat it like he's a 10 year vet. he hasnt even faced the adversity of a serious injury or being consistantly beaten in the playoffs by another team.

lebron will have his time in cleveland. its just when that time will be.

They feel bad for him because he has to be held responsible for the Cavs who arent wut there cracked up to be. But at tha same time he doesnt have a just terrible team but he is of that age of like 20 or 21 and really before he ever played a minute of Pro Ball everyone deemed him the Savior of Basketball, The next Jordan, and all of this. Dewayne had the luctuary of flying under the radar well i cant say that but he wuznt nearly as hyped up as LeBron which was one of the most hyped of players the world has ever seen. Even Jordan considered by many the greatest of all time didnt have miracoulus seasons when he first started. LeBron had the greatest first play off performance ever and probably will never be bested. Also with the new NBA age limit but back to the question i really cant say y they feel sorry for him becuz u guys kno like i kno the media can be vicious P.S. and to the guy that said he doesnt have the will and desire to win. When is the last time u turned on the t.v. and watched ESPN they are second in there division to the Detroit Pistons who at the time have the best record in the east with Cleveland running a close second

dude u realy overrate the cavs players. first of all lary hughes sucks soo badly. sure he was good on the wizards, but now hes useless waist of money. Second, for a center of ilgauskes size, he is a very bad rebounder, but he has a good shot... and its not making much difference. third, eric snow is old and sux balls. forth, donyell and damon can shoot threes, but they arent making them so its just a dip it the teams fg%. and finaly dont be a lebron hater. how would u like to be 22 and have to carry such a horrible team

Its probable because of fact Durant fairly is greater useful than LeBron. The media oftentimes has a tendency to d*ck-experience LeBron and say that hes the suited participant interior the international, the undisputed mvp, etc. yet surely Durant is the greater useful participant. i've got self assurance that LeBron robbed Durant of mvp the two this 12 months AND final 12 months. And your total "LeBron ought to take his team to the finals with a weaker team" argument is sort of invalid. LeBron in the time of his total occupation performed for the EAST. The jap convention is signifacntly weaker than the western convention, its a shown fact. In 07, the only team that grow to be extremely no longer undemanding to beat grow to be probable the Pistons. the different communities LeBron beat have been sort of hassle-free. Its additionally unfair so you might declare "Kevin Durant can not even carry the Thunder to the finals". As I reported till now, its very no longer undemanding to win interior the west, the two interior the popular and submit season. Memphis is unquestionably looking like a solid prominent to win all of it this 12 months. With that being reported, how ought to you penalize Durant and the Thunder for no longer beating a call-contending team whilst they don't have their celebrity participant? additionally, just to aid you already know, the sequence isn't over yet. There are 8 communities that have got here back from a three-a million defecit, OKC certainly must be considered one of them (because of undeniable fact that they lost recreation 3 purchase somewhat in OT and recreation 7 may well be performed in OKC). i assume we will could discover out.

Because they annointed him Jordan, even though he hasn't won anything. Wade is much better because he went to college and learned to compete and win. LeBron never did as he only played high school ball.

Also, I think LeBron lacks the will to win and compete...or at least he appears that way this year.

you make really good points man i mean there is no sympothy for kobe bryant or anyone i mean i think it is because he is one of David Sterns boys. He loves the guys with no tatoos and no compation for the game ( not getting angry ). i mean he has a good squad arround him and he still can not get it donen....kind of sad. the comparisons to jordan are unfair he is just like a dominique wilkins, can drive and be a highlite real, thats it
