Had pain meds. Well, I am hurting in an area close to the area I was operated on. It feels like it's in my side. I had my gllbladder removed 6 years ago and it hurts in that area. It is causing me concern. I lam going to the doctor for my post-op exam, but I would like to hear from anyone who had a similar experience.

It sounds like you might be starting to form new layers of scar tissue. One way to tell is if you are feeling a pulling type sensation when you move around.

I have a history of dealing with scar tissue (also called adhesions).
