Absolutely nothing. Take him to a doctor now. Vomiting in infants is extremely dangerous. He will get dehydrated and that will make things worse.

It is always a good idea to consult the doctor by talking to him or a nurse. When my little ones were sick, they said I shouldn't force food but I should give them a spoon full of liquid every 5 minutes. This way they could absorb some fluid with out them drinking a whole bottle and then throwing up immediately.

Hey, my daughter caught something when she was 11 months. You probably want to consult the doctor (duh), but I'll tell you what my doctor said. First off, cut back on the food. Give him nothing but clear liquids for the first 24 hours, and only a few tablespoons at a time. The most important thing is to prevent him from getting dehydrated, so you need to keep giving him liquids in portions small enough to keep down. When he's kept it down for a while, move up to other liquids and bland foods- mash potatoes, milk, rice cereal, etc. Just keep him hydrated.

Please please please don't take my word for it, though. You never know with babies- it could be allergies, a virus, or worse, so make sure to call your doctor.

I just went though that with my daughter. Put him on pedialyte.Give him some baby malox for an upset tummy.which will coat his belly. No formula. Hope it works for you it did for me but make sure you keep him on pedilyte until he doesnt vomit anymore so hes still getting some of the nutrients his body needs. No food until the vomiting stops. Then gradually return to food but start on crackers.

He might have a stomach bug. I had the same problem with my daughter, when i took her to the doctors they told me to feed her less quantites every 2 or 3 hours instead of every 4 to 5. Also try giving him pedialyte so that he doesnt dehydrate. Good luck i hope he feels better!

call your dr. they may tell you to get some pedialite. you can continue breastfeeding if he wants to, but if u formula feed they may tell you to wait a little while to have his tummy settle 1st. if he eats food you also may wait a little while to feed him.my daughter who is 10 mon. just had a throwing up bug and i only gave her half the formula she usually drinks and pedialite. just make sure he has a wet mouth, tears and wet diapers because u dont want him to dehydrate.
