Forrest Gump.

Both were good, I liked Forrest Gump more. Forrest Gump had a lot of classic sixties music in it, and seemed to capture a lot of the spirit of that era. But that could be hard to relate to for a younger person who doesn't really get the revolutionary aspects of that time.
The Gump story line is a bit more positive--much more positive--than the Sling Blade message. Of course, the Sling Blade story line is important, and put a difficult situation and 'solution' into the light. Things that make you think, that I like. So Sling Blade gets a cheer, too.

i think both were pretty good. people still make jokes about both people like carl from sling blade and forrest on forrest gump the major saying are uh huh and i like the way you talk from sling blade. from forrest is jen - ny and hi im forrest forrest gump. i would say forrest cause he manage to do soo much with his life and had issues with his life.

Forrest Gump is a classic and would be hard to top. Haven't seen the other movie.

Slingblade is by far better than Forrest Gump. FG is a coffee table date movie, made to make you cry. Slingblade is a great movie with a great cast.
