Alcohol does not make you fat. It is what you eat with it that makes you fat. And what activity you do as well. If you drink so much that you can't stand up let alone move on your own then you will be storing any fat you have consumed. Whereas if you drink enough to still enjoy the rest of night/day doing other things like dancing, walking, having sex, etc then you will burn any excess calories consumed. But how much depends on how much you do.
