Yes you could be. Home tests are not that accurate. Assume you are. No drinking, no drugs, becareful about over the counter meds and see your OB/GYN right away. If you are not, then something is wrong, and you need a doctor for yourself. Do not take chances with your life or the health of a potential fetus growing inside of you.

Get to a doctor, honey. If you are not pregnant, something is up and you need to be checked out.
Don't rely on those store bought brands, if that was the test you were using. The Dr. should be able to run a urine, and then a blood if needed, to get you an straight answer.
I came up negative on a urine test 9 years ago (positive on the blood test the same day)...and I just put my 8 year old boy to bed, if that answers the question.
Either way, the earlier you get care when you are pregnant the better. And it still raises the little hairs on the back of my neck when you say that you haven't had your period that long and are having symptoms like this, but keep coming up neg. on the tests. Something isn't adding up right.
Please, get to a doctor so you can get looked at, K? Yahoo, even with the best intentions from the people that answer this question, can't replace someone who can see you and has the medical training to take care of you.

This happened to me when I decided to get off the pill to try for #2. My body just went haywire. I didn't have a period from Nov 2005 to April 2006. Then I had a period every other week from May to August. Talk about hormones ! I saw all kinds of doctors and had more test ran on me then I can count. They couldn't find anything. All they told me was that sometimes after being on the pill. I was on the mini pill cause I breastfeed. A woman's body can react strangely. They'll probably give you a pregnancy test then do other test like for cysts or other things. My doctor put me on provera which regulated my period so I was able to get pregnant. Call your doctor in the morning and make an appointment. I wish you the best.

The logically thing to have done after two hpts came out negative was to go to a doctor, especially if it has been 3 months since your last period. It could be ANYTHING. A kidney problem, a bladder problem, an STD and ectoptic pregnancy, an ulcer...you need to see a doctor instead of playing with a home pregnancy kit.

hmmm....sometimes taking (or in your case not taking) birth control can cause irregular periods. I have a similar situation. My first test was neg and second was pos. I am now 6 months along. I would just go see the doctor.
How is it that you are afraid you will hurt the baby?

It's possible. At any rate, you should go to your doctor to see why you are feeling tired and sick and your stomach, and to find out the cause of the missed periods--baby or no baby. Take care of yourself, and good luck, okay?

Sounds like you are, call your doctor and have them give you a pregnancy blood test those are more accurate. My sister kept taking otc pregnancy tests and they came back negative but when she had a blood test it was positive

I suggest taking one of those clearblue digital ones. If you are pregnant at ALL it will tell you.
I took one today and got a positive and my hcg leval is only 6.
Trust me, most pregnancy tests won't register unless the hcg is at least 25-50 .
