Don't pay them and see what happens to you. You are wrong, it was ratified by the requisite 36 states in February 1913. Where do you come up with this stuff? I've seen those "never ratified" arguements, they are ridiculous technicalities, one even claims that Ohio never really was a state. LOL.

I can't prove that other than to say the law was passed by congress a long time ago. Key word here is LAW. Now if you don't think the law is valid, don't pay your taxes and I'm guessing it will be only a short time in which you will have to prove you don't have to pay taxes. Can you say,lost my home, lost my cars, lost my bank acct, lost everything I have and here I am in the Fed Pen???????

There are a myriad of court cases covering this. Quit chasing your tail. If you do not want to pay your taxes that is fine with me. I am sure some very unpleasant people from the IRS will take the time to prove it at your trial.

Well -- there are some folks in federal prisons today (and some are lawyers) who can provide testimony that if you don't pay your taxes some really bad things can happen to you.

Ok, i can't prove it. Go ahead and ignore it. Don't pay income tax. When the IRS breaks down your door and sends you to jail, you'll get the picture.

Because you use federally funded items. You drive on roads maintained by federal funds. You vote in elections (presumably). You use and take part in many aspects of our democracy, yet you won't assume your small part of the burden, and would rather shift it to others.
