Why does Philly get all the good wrestling?

If you live in Philly you're lucky. Chikara, RoH, and of course back in the old days ECW. What is it about Philly that attracts good wrestling talent? Anyone thinking about getting into wrestling should forget about moving to Atlanta and move to Philly. Wish I lived there.

It's because of ECW (the original, not WWE's crappy version.) Originally, located at the Viking Hall (ECW Arena, aka "the bingo hall")at the corner of Swanson and Ritner, many of the former wrestlers started to run schools in the building and the surrounding areas, including New Jersey. The students needed to get some seasoning and since they are too green to join the bigger companies and after ECW folded, they started running their own shows and started forming their own independent federations. Some of these federations that are now running shows from the old Viking Hall (now the new Alhambra Arena) are Ring of Honor, Chikara, CZW and even the west coast based XPW. The rabid Philly fans also help the atmosphere. Most of the creative chants you hear on TV now a days ("This is awesome", "You F'Ed up!") started in the old ECW arena.

Well I don't know there are a lot of key place where wrestling is good California, Philadelphia, Florida, Memphis, Japan, some places in England and Canada it's just most of the bookers now used to like the territorial system and many of them want it to be brought back.
