I felt it was a good way to lead up to the big event thats gonna happen soon, i dont want to spoil it so i wont say what it is
Zach said he would stay for a 7th(final) season if bill stays on as producer

If Zach Braff left, surely Scrubs would end. Which would be truly depressing.
I love Scrubs! Although it is a big inundated with sexual innuendo, which is irritating. But it's hilarious...
