It is rare that Vitale bad mouths any player so I find that story a bit unusual.
That being said, Joakim Noah is sort of an enigma. He has stated that being an NBA All-Star is not his first priority. His father, Yannick, who won the French Open in 1983 for tennis, has a lot of money and he might not be as motivated about basketball as some other players. I think had Vitale qualified the statements he made a little bit, people would not have been exercised.

he's not the moron, the show's producers should have made dickie v aware of WHEN he was going to be on the air BEFORE HAND(which means more than 2 seconds before airing)...i am a big fan of dickie v, he gives more knowledge about the game than any other analyst and has a passion for the game that no other analyst has...does he repeat the same things over and over? yes...does he suck up to duke? yes...however, his knowledge and passion for the game and more importantly his passion for life has made him one of the most popular figures in college hoops today...just look at the work he has done for cancer research

All he does is talk, he over-hypes everything, no one cares about diaper dandies, PTPers. His act was cool when I was younger but since ive been following college bball for about 15 yrs now, its the same comments every year with him. All he does is insert a new players name into his thoughts. Im a Duke fan and I get sick of him and his love of the cameron crazies and coach k. We get it dick, u have a secret gay crush on coach k and bobby knight.

He is actually a very smart basketball mind, it was the radio show's fault. And Noah will be nothing compared to Horford in the NBA.
