Hi, I'm 5'7" and 17 years old.... I got my period at 13, had it for a year, and lost it inexplicably. I was then 127 lbs, which should be enough, right? I had my period when I was that weight before.
Basic info for a basic Q- any ideas?

i usually just say that when u are young it is irreugular, but if it dissapeared for 3 years, something could be really wrong. besides extreme stress (which i cant imaine would last for three years), or you have no body fat due to excessive exercising. you have to see a doctor about it, have u ever one to the gyn? its a relatively simple exam, and nothing to be neervous about. he may have to do an ultrasound to just get a picture of things.

My Dr told me, regarding my daughter, that most girls have to weigh around 100 pounds and have some fat on them. (I don't remember why about the fat) Are you really active in sports? Many athletes have irregular or no periods.

i have heard you have to be atleast 105, but it varies. Yeah that should be enough, i'm not sure why that happened. but i have heard people tell me that has happened to them.
