Im a lesbian
I am what I am
I am my own special creation
So come take a look
Give me the hook or the ovation
Its my world
That I want to have a little pride in
My world
And its not a place I have to hide in
Lifes not worth a damn
Till you can say
I am what I am
I am what I am
I dont want praise I dont want pity
I bang my own drum
Some think its noise I think its pretty
And so what if I love each sparkle and each bangle
Why not try to see things from a different angle
Your life is a sham
Till you can shout out
I am what I am
I am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck
Sometimes the aces sometimes the deuces
Its one life and theres no return and no deposit
One life so its time to open up your closet
Lifes not worth a damn till you can shout out
I am what I am
I am what I am
I am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck sometimes the aces sometimes the deuces
Its one life and theres no return and no deposit
One life so its time to open up your closet
Lifes not worth a damn till you can shout out
I am what I am

The term gay means homosexual, which is an exclusive attraction to the same sex.
The term straight means heterosexual, which is an exclusive attraction to the opposite sex.
Heterosexuals and homosexuals occupy two ends of the Kinsey Scale, and there are five categories in between - which makes a lot of bisexuals.

I'd be a sad person if I wasn't gay. :-)
What happened to Bisexual or other ones such as Asexuality?
I guess I am 'straight' at the moment although I like keep an open mind.

i'm straight myself. just because this section is specifically for lesbian, gay and transgendered people doesn't mean that straights cannot contribute their views. for as long as myself and them are acceptable and in respect of people's sexual orientation, without being discriminatory and offensive, then i don't see why it should make any difference. then again, it shouldn't make a difference whether you are hetrosexual or homosexual because we are all human beings
