A good woman friend (not a girl-friend or anything) described me as "an absolute tart of a man" to a (woman) friend of hers who was going to work for my wife. I know she said it in an affectionate sort of way, because she also said she would "love him to bits, he's great fun". We got on great, and she told me all this one day, but when I asked what it meant, she wouldn't give me a straight answer.
If it's relevant (which I suspect), I'm very happy in my marriage!

rose_merrick: No! Positive! Honest...
all those suggesting the "t" and "f" thing: she didn't type it, she said it :-)

OK, I think I'm starting to get it, so I've given you all a bit longer. If I do flirt, it's not conciously, and women DO seem to enjoy my company - I don't seem to creep them out or anything.
And a note to the abusers (you know who you are) - read the question properly before answering!
