Salary is a 3 tiered system, approx $35000, 25000, 18000. NBA assignees still draw an NBA salary. An NBA 10 day contract is approx $35000. And the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) guarantees road expenses. You won't get rich, but the chance to pick up a contract into the big league or overseas is worth the effort.

Yes but they only get paid 1000 a game

Yes they do because there still players who will play in the nba.
But just not a lot of money
