The economic situation of Germany. Not only did Hitler prey on the poverty of the German people, he also gave them someone to blame for that poverty. That blame turned to hate and of course who he put the blame on were the Jewish people. It's much easier to blame and hate then to figure out ways to just get yourself out of a situation and help yourself.

blind faith in an idiot who thought he was GOD..the willingness of a nation to allow themselves to be controlled by a monster who was insane and had no morals or conscience ..i will never truly understand how this demon from hell was able to live with himself for a single day knowing what he was doing to all those innocent men, women, and children..god help us to never have a nation go through that again
