A 16 year old girl wants to get birth control pills without her parents finding out because they are very stict.

yea i currently live in nc and you can get them @ planned parenthood. go to their website

Yes she can go to her local health dept. She needs to tell them not to contact her at home so she shouldnt even give her home phone number. I think this is very responsible of your friend. But tell her to make sure she also uses condoms every time to protect her from STDs the are very common around here. Also tell her to go to www.The HPVTest.com to learn about HPV it is VERY common and can cause cancer and condoms do not prevent this. I am telling you this so she will make wiser decisions on how many people she is with and just make safer sexual decisions. Also tell her I said Thanks for opting for birth control and not going out and having an unwanted baby!!

At the age sixteen you don't need your parents to do anything for you. You can get your birth control pills on your own.

As a teen myself, I just have to say you shouldn't even be having sex in the first place, but yes. You can get birth control pills.

Yes she can go to the local health department and get it there. But just in case she should bring a friend that's older she trust. good luck.

Yes they can....I had several friends when I lived in NC that did this....Its better to talk to your parents about it,but im glad your friend is being safe.She still needs to use a condom no matter what...

she should go to the local health department and and talk to a counselor and they will help her with what she needs but tell her to make sure she is honest

just use condoms.
you will have to use them anyway not to get STD's.
