if all are healthy, it's gotta be baron davis, aka bdiddy. look at his avg stats! 20 pts per game, a 3 a game, 2 stls a game (defense!), almost 9 assists and 4-5 rebounds...that's pretty great for a pg .426 FG%.

billips...18 pts a game, 2 3's per game, 1 steel per game, 7-8 assts per game, and 3 boards. .437 FG%.

bdiddy has more value as a point guard and more value to his team. I don't think tony parker even comes close in terms of value stat wise or to his team. warriors can't win without bdiddy, as above poster said...spurs win easy wihtout parker and detroit finds ways to win without billups.

however...'value' wise should include real life injury risk, right? in that case, it's billups. bdiddy is made of glass and is a walking band aid. he's ALWAYS injured. no exception this year. bdiddy is hurt SO much that he hurts his team, whether it's new orleans, or golden state or wherever...i'd bet that if he comes back, he will be injured again before the season is over. at least nelson's got monta playing geat.

If you're talking classic point guard, it would have to be Tony Parker among these three. Chauncey Billups came into the NBA as a 2 guard, not a point guard; he converted to point guard later in his career. Baron Davis has had too many injuries in his career to be effective.

the warriors do need the 'dinner' baron, oh you mean the guy who usually spends 1/4 of the season on the 'injured' list..hint..push the chair away from the food...billups is easily the most valuable for his team..the team just is not the same when hes not in the lineup...parker is not as crucial a part, although he is a main cog...billups then parker then porky pig, sorry the 'dinner' baron...

billups for me because without billups they are not the championship caliber team that people are saying. tony is not having a great year (i really don't think he deserves an all star slot this year) and GS is doing fine w/out baron (4-7 though those losses were mostly against play off caliber teams like denver and lakers)

Davis is the most talented, Parker the most succesful, Billups though has leadership. I'ld take Billups.

Mr. Big Shot, Chauncey Billups. He always comes through in the clutch moments, i don't think anyone would be able to take his spot. He is a great leader and very unselfish.

Billups looks like a championship ring kisser who boasts it wherever he goes, Parker is not a bling bling hiphopping show off so Parker wins for being not irritating.

in terms of value to their team its baron davis. the warriors need baron to win. the pistons dont need billups to win and the spurs dont need tony to win. baron runs the warriors offense and look what happened when he got his surgery. the warriors lost a lot of games. the warriors need baron to be good much like how phx needs nash to be good. remember what happened when nash was out? phx lost 3 out of 4 including 1 to atlanta.
