No, I don't think he hates you. I think he's curious or interested in you or something of yours... From what you describe, he almost sounds like a stalker, so be careful. Me personally, if I dislike someone, I'd rather not look a them and avoid them. Last, about the communication comment you mentioned, it seems like he's the one with the communication problem.

Maybe he fancies you and is bad at showing it... maybe you're right and he doesn't like you... either way is behaviour is a poor show and you deserve more respect so don't give him the time of day! If it's true that he fancies you then he's gonna have to do a better job of proving it! If he doesn't like you - well we're not always gonna please everyone so rise above it, don't let it bother you!

I am not getting a yes on this one, strangely enough. I usually do. But something tells me to proceed with caution, if not, step back. I am not feeling the right chemistry between the two of you.
