1) Don't be embarassed about them! They are a part of life. Losing/gaining weight can be a culprit, but so can just plain growing!
2) Buy a bottle of Vitamin E oil. Massage it into the effected areas twice a day and you'll actually see them fade. I had some nasty stretch marks from pregnancy, and the Vitamin E REALLY helped.
3) Some say cocoa butter helps, but I haven't seen as great results with that.
4) Know that only surgery can REMOVE them. Any ideas here (like Vitamin E) will help them to fade but not rid them totally. The best thing you can do is to just love your body!

Stretch marks occur when there is a lack of moisture. Make sure that you use cocoa butter at all times. Dry skin is a no-no and can make stretch marks in the weirdest places.
Buy Palmer's Cocoa Butter at your nearest drugstore. Apply it when you come out of the shower/bath. Then put it on again as needed.

Don't worry too much, I know the exact thing you need.
Bio - Oil
http://www.bio-oil.info/en/home
Since a very young age i have had several scars on my legs.
There was so many of them, and most were very dark in colour, a dark shade of brown.
They really started to affect my confidence when i went swimming and stuff. I looked on the internet for ages and spoke to my doctor about the scars. He could prescribe me an oil to put on the scars and would make them go down in 9months, And it was expensive!! So i couldn't afford it.
One Day i saw an advert on the tv for bio - oil... it was an advert for stretch marks but claimed it would also clear appearance of scars... It was alot cheaper. I bought the bigger sized bottle and applied as often as i could...
5 weeks later.... All gone ! ! ! =D
I am overjoyed! I had my doubts it would work... The scars have gone but i still use it.. it can be used as a wrinkle 'fighter', a mousteriser and more. Its very good with your skin. You can also put a little bit in your bath as the water runs and let your skin absorb it.
I really suggest trying it out. If it can get rid of the dark scars im sure it will get rid of the stretch marks you have.
It does feel a little bit oily at first but skin absorbs it straight away.
Try it out and Good Luck
