What should you think I should do?

Well, Our school does morning announcement everyday on tv, and before it gets through school news, it starts with like video and music, like a intro. I was just thinking if I make like good school related video and add hip hop realted beats, do you think the administrators would consider it? My school has wack music...when starting the morning announcement.

Also YOU GUYS CAN GIVE ME SOME TIPS ON WHAT SOFTWARE I SHOULD USE TO MAKE BEATS? im using hiphop ejay right now to make my beats. AND SOME TIPS OF VIDEO EDITING SOFTWARES..AND TALK ABOUT YOUR HIGH SCHOOLS MORNING ANNOUCEMENT, IF THEY DO LIKE MY SCHOOL. Srry for the caps, but its just to make you read it and help me =) Thanks helps will be appreciated.

I think you should do it. Especially if you're trying to get the attention of other teens and gain some experience with media. I think hip hop would be a great way to get in touch with your peers... just be selective with the type of hip hop you use.

An awesome sound mixer is Sound Forge. You can use programs like Frame Forge to make the actual video.

So you're in high school.

High school students are generally either vain, stupid, caught up in their own business, or arrives too late to catch the announcement.

My advice to you? The announcements are censored media in a school where people throw around swears like it's nothing. The announcements may be the only thing in the school that's so damn squeaky clean.

Given the huge amount of irony there, I suggest you leave it as it is: A thing that exists for no real purpose.

I think if you go at it right, they will consider this
you gotta win both sides tho. As in this case, the teachers and the students. But with enough creativity I dont see why they would say no.
Also....Quicktime & Windows make a great platform for media. YOu might want to try Adobe software too, they make some great stuff

Do a sampling to introduce to the administrators. Make it tasteful, yet, upbeat. Nothing ever came out of life without a try. Make a demo first, then present it. If you believe in it and are excited about it and consider being respectful to those who are possibly going to be hearing it. I think you have yourself a good debate. All the best.

I think it's definitely worth a try. I don't see why the administration would be against it as long as it is school appropriate and well-made. Plus, they're original beats, so they would also be able to show the creativity and talent of their students.

You should alternate from hip hop, rock, alternative punk etc.. it all sounds good and has a good beat at one point or another. you should make a mix.That way you don't leave anyone out since you are in high school.
