Just earlier on tvguide.com it said a brand new episode was to air. . .any "grey's" fanatics here anything?

They are preparing for a string of new episodes. The next new episode is set to air March 15th. It'll be titled Episode 3.18: Scars and Souvenirs.

Because the big February Sweeps period is over. The networks jam all those new episodes into their sweeps periods to get the high ratings and attract the best advertising rates. We get to watch re runs until their ready to do it again.
The next big Sweeps period is May - usually when you see a bunch of season finales.... So look for new episodes leading up to those May Sweeps to start rolling out in April... building up the storylines to those can't miss season enders!

This season has been 2 to 3 new episodes then RE-RUNS 4-ever..then 2 to 3 more new ones.....Who knows why....

i guess their trying to set up the season finale i hope this isn't the last season of grey's anatomy i just got into it about 2 months ago. and i don't really care too much about men in trees. But tonights episode was hilarious when george and alex fought.

I'm mad at this too because I'm a faithful Grey's fanatic. I think that ABC is letting all the other networks do more premeire shows and don't want to compete this week.

Well for the past 3 Thurday's they had a 3 part episode which was damn good, if you didn't see it. I was crying last week. If you miss those shows you can watch them online for free. Check out the site

saving up for the sweeps! this season will have 23 episodes...with episode 3.18 on march 15...episode 3.19 in March/April 2007 and the rest in april.

I've heard that the next air date is March 15th also. I think they do this because it gets us all excited about the upcoming show and they will have bigger ratings when it returns. I love this show too....I think ABC's whole Thursday lineup is great!
