i am reading the nba's greatest players and it says he went to college im not sure if thats right because i heard he came out of high school

Some people got it all twisted...He left High School(Lower Merion H.S. in Lower Merion PA) and was drafted by Charlotte, with the13th pick(96 draft).Later in the draft he was traded to the Lakers for Vlade Divac.

Being Kobe's number one fan I am 100% sure that he entered the NBA draft coming straight out of high school in Pennsyvania after winning a state championship.

he came right out of Lower Merion, Pennsylvania high school in 1996 and committed to duke but entered the draft and was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets at the 13th pick later the signing rights were traded to the lakers for Vlade Divac

yes. and im mad because he was going to go to duke. he came from lower merion high school in pennsylvania. now there is an age limit for entering the nba. kobe came at 17
