south park JUST ended not too long ago how are there new episodes so soon

I heard Stone& Parker talk about this. The drwings are so simple and the software they use so powerful it takes almost no time to produce new shows. This is also why they can change them around so fast to be topically relevant.

The network has committed to three more seasons of South Park over the next three years, meaning the show will run until at least 2008.

Well it's a very poorly constructed cartoon and to create
some new episodes wouldn't take very long.But your right
It did end,or maybe it was the season finale,but I reckon
they saw how good Draw Together was and decided to
try and steal the ratings and viewers away..
whatever the reason will have to wait and see if the new
episodes are any good?

the creators wrote new scripts, and then drew more scenes, and recorded the voices. amazing how all together, it makes an episode.
