Italy under Mussolini was fascist. It is a political belief that the needs and wants of the state need to be superior to that of the individual.

It is also dedicated to hating communism.

It is different than communism because communism, in theory, is dedicated to doing what is best for the working classes.

Fascism says that what is best for the state is best for the citizens. Communism would say that what is best for the working class is best for the state.

In practice, using the USSR as an example, they weren't too different.

First of all, I'm not going to do your homework for you. That is your responsibility.

Second of all, I will give you an example of fascism and that's Nazi Germany. You could also go with pre-WWII Spain (actually, their dictator, Francisco Franco, lived on until 1975) or Italy during WWII. Those are also good examples of fascism.

Lastly, read up on Nazi Germany (or whatever example you chose) and then read up on the basics of Communism and build your essay on that. Be sure to cite your sources in citations or footnotes.
