its going on a 16' center console alumacraft tunnel hull...

The Evinrude E-Tec is a far better choice, more power to weight ratio, less maintainence, better fuel economy, quieter. However the E-Tec is also more expensive but you get your moneys worth.

only the price to consider. both great motors. it might be tough to find a 2-stroke yamaha 50 these days.
