I need to boil and reassemble a cat skeleton for anatomy... any ideas?

Well...You put it a big pot and boil away.

May I suggest you take said dead critter and immerse in a bucket of bleach. Not diluted.

I might take a couple of times but eventually the bleach eats all
the flesh and leaves you pure white and sterile bones.

The bones may smell of chlorine, but if you leave them in the open air for a while, the smell mostly goes away.

Remove as much none-bone tissue as you can prior to that. This will ease the boiling. I'm sorry I can't tell you anything further about the boiling itself. The only thing I know is that it stinks! So you might wanna do this outside.

I have the strange feeling that you put it in a pot with some water and sit it on a stove.

Throw it in the heat furnace and it will be fried too.
