1) Jem and Scout witness the unfair trial of Tom Robinson
2) Jem and Scout were attacked by Bob Ewell, forcing them to realize not all people are kind.

You need to read the book yourself, but OK, I'll give you one... just ONE...
When Jem hits puberty and becomes moody. At one time, he loses his temper and yells at Scout, "Can't you be more like a girl?!"
At least I think that might count...

Look for it and think. Look back at your class notes. Loss of innocence is basically losing something. Did she lose a family member, or hope in any situation?
